permafrost groënlandais, l’Atlantique nord, l’Islande, l’Ecosse, Londres puis
Genève… 8'000 km, 42 heures de vol en VFR (vol à vue). Bienvenue à bord,
aventure garantie !

No, this isn’t Flight Simulator. Under the
somehow strange denomination of “Oshkosh – EAA Convention” hides THE airshow in
the US: 12’000 (twelve thousand) aircraft on a single airport north of Chicago!
After the airshow, the swiss spotter Luc Leonardi climbs aboard a Robin 3000, a
single 180 HP piston-engined aircraft used by airclubs. The plane (HB-KEL) goes
home to Geneva, Switzerland, crossing the Atlantic eastwards! Takeoff from
Oshkosh to Canadian plains and forests, greenlandic permafrost, North Atlantic,
Iceland, Scotland, London and Geneva… 4’300 miles, 42 hours of flight in VFR
(Visual Flight Rules). Welcome aboard, ready for the adventure!
